Building a one person business for Financial Freedom

Today l changed my Twitter and tiktok bio and wrote a bold statement " building a one person business for financial freedom"

This has come from 5 years experience and l had to fail in many businesses to consider this as my way to go .

After leaving school in 2018 ,

- 2019 landed my first Job as a teacher

- 2020 stated my first business

- 2021 took my offline work online

- 2022 My first success in businesses

- 2023 Running every online business imaginable YouTube ,crypto, forex , freelancing, affiliate marketing etc

- 2024 Everything falling apart , exhausted and got into debt

- 2025 Building a one person business for Financial Freedom

I don't blame myself for trying out everything l thought would work from the time l was 20 to 25 years am actually proud l did everything my mind told me to try out. I fell in love with some and dropped many.

It's because l did them and got some success some of course failed but all helped me to build my experience to make better decisions for the next challenge in my life

What is Financial Freedom

Much as financial freedom is defined in many ways: the most recognized way is , being able to do what you want , where you want it and how you want it.

Many people will be teaching you on the Internet that do a particular Thing they recommend to attain financial freedom. Whether they may be right or not financial freedom has no one way .

Just like a saying in my local language " there are many ways of killing a goat"

There is no that one particular thing that has made all the millionaires what they are

Why a One Person Business.

The first reason I am going for a one person business is because l have tried many businesses but the downfall of my businesses always starts when l introduce the second person to my business. May be, l am not good at hiring or managing people.

Deep in me l find it hard to force anyone to do what they don't love. Maybe that's why l fail to force them to help my business succeed.

Secondly have attained some success with a one person business though l didn't know what l was doing exactly. I decided l was going to run my YouTube channel without any second person and l enjoyed the process till when l got stuck with limiting beliefs

I enjoyed doing YouTube as a one person business because l had to learn how to ;

- Write scripts

- talk to the camera

- Edit videos

- graphics design for thumbnails

- Negotiation with brands

- YouTube SEO

- Community building

All as one person, you think about your idea , you create it and distribute it .

How did l get stuck with this method.

The limiting belief of Niche down . I was forced by a belief l had in me to pick one particular topic to talk about every single time.

I exhausted the topic and everything seemed like l was just repeating myself in a different way . I niched down to crypto, studied it , created content around it and built communities around it . I didn't know how dangerous this is.

Now get me right, crypto has its bad parts and good parts and this letter is not about crypto. And l talk about them openly in my crypto tutorials.

The danger I mean is niching down , it does not allow you to explore your curiosity in other areas of life even when you want to , you become stressed because we grow by learning new things, if you stop learning you have stopped growing.

So l decided to pack all my crypto knowledge in one place and continue to explore other areas my curiosity takes me .

The one business person business model

-You explore your curiosity,

- learn about them,

- teach them ,

- make products and

- distribute them

The foundation is product creation and distribution.

the reward is continuous growth and learning, doing what you love, earning more, working less and enjoying life.
