Why We’re Not Setting Goals
Everyone is setting goals.But we are not doing that.
Everyone is setting goals.
But we are not doing that.
Here’s why.
Because we already know the truth:
Most people chase goals for 2 or 3 months, then abandon them quietly.
They don’t fail because they are lazy.
They fail because they never changed who they are.
So instead of goal-setting, we’re doing three things immediately.
1. We’re Changing Identity
It’s hard for you to jog in the morning because you’re not an athlete.
It’s hard for you to read consistently because you’re not a writer.
You cannot do for long what you are not.
You must become the thing first before doing it feels natural.
And that’s where most people are stuck.
They want to be rich
— so that they can do what they love.
They want capital
— so that they can start a business.
They believe the starting point is external.
No.
It’s internal.
You’re Not Changing Because You’ve Chosen Not To
Read this slowly:
“What you’re not changing, you’re choosing.”
— Bruce Lee
That means:
You’re not changing your life because you don’t want to.
You’re not tired enough of your situation.
You’re comfortable with your account balance.
You’re okay with your job.
You’re okay with your health.
You’re okay with your studies.
You’re okay with your business.
You’re okay with your relationship.
If it was truly painful — you would move.
Pain forces change.
Comfort kills it.
Look Closely at Your Life
You hate your job, yet every year you go back — you chose it.
You hate where you live, yet year after year you don’t move — you chose it.
Most successful self-made people didn’t start from motivation.
They started when they got tired.
Real tired.
Debt.
Responsibility.
Family pressure.
Fees.
Food.
Studies.
Jobs.
Everything piled up.
And one day they decided:
Enough is enough.
When You’re Truly Tired, Something Changes
You stop negotiating with yourself.
You stop making excuses.
You stop needing motivation.
You just move.
You become a wounded lion looking for prey.
At that point:
You don’t need motivation.
You don’t need speeches.
You don’t need hype.
You need direction.
That’s Why Goals Don’t Fail Anymore
Because goals are no longer goals.
They are your life.
You either achieve them —
or you don’t survive the same way again.
You don’t drop them after 1 or 3 months.
Because this time, you’re tired.
And tired people don’t quit.
